Ian Cowell Tanaka continues to impress (and how couldn't he?). If you're anything like me, you grew up with this man's signature bops and boogies, and like fine wine, it only continues with age. Electronic music often benefits from not sounding too aged, even though all styles go through their twenty years cycles. This is a timeless record that I've put a lot of listens into in a short amount of time. It cannot be compared to Tanaka's video game work, it simply stands on it's own as a masterpiece. Favorite track: Cactus Chant.

Scott MWAH bops from the tippy top to the too-soon stop; this man is a gift. Favorite track: Decolor.

1980年より任天堂のサウンドエンジニアとしてチップサウンドをゲームミュージックとして世界に広げたオリジネーター、たなかひろかず。2017年、全世界で大きな反響を得た1stアルバム『Django』、2020年の2ndアルバム『Domingo』に次ぐ、「明日」「未来」を意味するイタリア語『Domani』（ドマーニ）とタイトルが付けられたChip Tanaka名義の3rdアルバム。コロナ禍、環境問題などが渦巻く2021年、彼自身の未来と世界の未来を重ね、変わるもの、変わらないもの、存在の儚さ、夢、などをテーマにした14トラックを収録。1曲目に収録のマリオの冒険をイメージさせる楽しいチップチューン「GO→JUMP↑」から幕を開け、空、海をテーマに想像力の無限の拡がりを感じさせる「Pacific」、Chip Tanakaのルーツでもあるダブ、レゲエをベースにした「Third Sunrise」「Cactus Chant」、他には民族的、トライバルなリズムを奏でる楽曲から、中村佳穂、君島大空らをサポートするギタリスト西田修大参加でアンビエントな世界が広がるハイライトトラック「1912」まで、チップチューンをベースにしつつも多彩な音世界が展開される。
CD購入者特典として、期間限定で未発表音源のDLができる「田中の手紙3」が付属する。
